- Dappled Cities debut at number 1 on The Australian Independent Music Charts; US release on September 15, 2009

- Tiësto plays North Atlanta Trade Center on October 10; releases Kaleidoscope on Ultra Records on October 20, 2009

- Asobi Seksu release Transparence 10" on August 25, 2009

- Times New Viking's new album, Born Again Revisited, is out September 22, 2009

- Ah Holly Fam’ly to release Reservoir on October 10, 2009 (MP3 - Ah Holly Fam'ly - Young Veins)

- Leopold and his Fiction are in the studio recording with new line up of Daniel James (Vocals/Guitar), Micayla Grace (Bass Guitar/Vocals) and Jon Sortland (Drums/Vocals/Organ), producer Thom Monahan (Devendra Banhart, Little Joy, Vetiver).

- Choir of Young Believers released their debut LP, This Is for the White in Your Eyes, last week (MP3 - Choir of Young Believers - "Next Summer")

- The Blakes begin their Fall tour on September 25, 2009

- Robin Guthrie to release full length album Carousel on Darla Records on September 28, 2009.

- Fever Ray has announced "Seven" as the next single from her self-titled debut will be released on October 5, 2009. The single package will include new remixes by Crookers, Martyn, CSS, Marcel Dettman, Seth Troxler and Nicolas Chacona.
