New Lucero Album; Tour Dates

Earlier this decade, when indie and dance-punk was all the rage, Lucero was the dirt under the fingernails; the straight-forward rock that cut through the musical bullshit.

As we head into the Fall of 2009, Lucero's sixth album - major label debut - 1372 Overton Park, will be October 6 via Universal Republic Records. The album was produced by Ted Hutt (The Gaslight Anthem) and featuring horn arrangements by legendary Memphis session player Jim Spake (Al Green, John Hiatt, Solomon Burke, Cat Power).

The album will be a departure from their early work, as the band explores the roots of Memphis rock and soul. "Smoke" shows the bands maturation with the incorporation of sounds not previously found in the band's sound.
