Freddy Fender passes

Freddy Fender, a latin-american country singer from the 1970's passed away after a long batter with cancer. He was 69. Also, the first openly gay congressman, Gerry Studds, died as well.

Top of the Pops - the UK's long-time music show is back, sort of. Top of the Pops 2 has replaced Top of the Pops on the BBC. We're interested to hear from our UK readers if the new version worth anything.
